*Cancelled* Becoming Neighbors: Learning from Scripture and Mister Rogers (Now Online)

Update: Sunday worship will now be online. Wednesday night worship has been cancelled. Visit us at Facebook.com/holynativitynewhope for live streaming of worship and for an alternative to Wednesday worship!

Our 2020 Lenten theme is Becoming Neighbors: Learning from Scripture and Mister Rogers. Through his famous television show, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Mister Rogers taught children about the qualities that make us good and helpful members of our various neighborhoods. But did you know that Mister Rogers was a person of deep faith, and that his values and teachings stemmed from his love of Scripture and Jesus? Join us this Lent as we learn to cultivate the things that make us good neighbors: acceptance, forgiveness, compassion, and more! Each Wednesday evening at 7pm (March 4th – April 1st) we will look at a different trait we are to live out in order to be good neighbors—all through Scripture and clips of Mister Rogers’ show.

We’ll also sing the Holden Evening Prayer liturgy by Marty Haugen.
