Lenten worship takes place Wednesdays at 7:00pm from February 14th – March 21st.
Each Wednesday evening during the season of Lent this year you will witness a dramatic dialogue between a radio host and one of the characters in Jesus’ passion narrative. From Pilate, Pilate’s wife, Barabbas, Judas, and Peter, you’ll hear what it was like during the days leading up to Jesus’ death. You’ll learn about their lives, what led them to the tragic events surrounding the crucifixion, and what they would want us—21st century students of this story—to know and understand. The series is called “They Were There,” and it’s an imaginative opportunity for those who were there to help those of us who were not gather meaning from a few of our central stories.
