She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2009 with a degree in religion and sociology (Go Hawkeyes!), and she completed her Master of Divinity at Luther Seminary in 2013. As a pastor, Ashley loves preaching, creating memorable and meaningful worship opportunities, connecting with people of all ages, and helping individuals and families live out their faith in daily life. She believes we can all learn from each other as we try to follow Jesus and do God’s work in the world.
When not at church, Pastor Ashley loves to read, go to the movies, travel/explore, watch football (Go, Pack, Go!), and spend time with her family and friends—especially her daughter Emery and cats Sasha and Minnie. She welcomes you to Holy Nativity, and hopes you find nourishment for a faith that comforts you, challenges you, and roots you in God’s unfailing love and Christ’s promise of new, abundant life.
