Erica Bryerwell (she/her) grew up near Kansas City (on the Kansas side), but moved to Minneapolis to attend Augsburg College, where she earned her Bachelors degree in English as a Second Language Education and German with a minor in music. She went on to teach in Worthington, MN and Kumamoto, Japan before coming back to Minneapolis. She earned her Masters of Divinity at Luther Seminary as a part of their accelerated degree pilot program, MDivX.
Erica’s passions in ministry are centered around worship, relationship building, and creating intentional spaces for those who have been hurt by the church. She is called to preach, teach, and walk alongside communities and people. She is also called to remind people of God’s Grace and Love, and to live out the call to live their neighbor. She believes building relationships is central to a Christian community and sharing the Gospel.
Erica lives in St. Louis Park with her spouse, Teddy; daughter, Evelyn; cat, Pasht; and dog, Reilly. Currently, she spends most of her time chasing around her one year old, but her other hobbies include cross stitching, playing ukulele, playing board games and table top RPGs, and watching Star Trek.
