Kari received her BA in Theatre Arts from Southwest State University (now Southwest Minnesota State University), and her MA in Theatre Arts/Theatrical Stage Management from Purdue University. She began teaching and assisting with the Holy Nativity Sunday School program in 2000, and in 2004 she became Holy Nativity’s Sunday School/VBS Coordinator. In 2007, Kari became the Christian Education Director, and served in this position until 2019. Kari is currently the Holy Nativity Choristers Director, and thoroughly enjoys making music with the kids!
Kari lives in Plymouth with her husband, Brian, and their two dogs. Her favorite things are playing with their grandsons and spending time with family and friends. In her spare time Kari enjoys going to the lake (any lake!), watching sports and movies, singing, and lounging with a good book.
